Mourning the Loss of Summer

goodbye my lover, goodbye my friend 

I stopped by the market this weekend and picked up the most beautiful bouquet of wild flowers from a local vendor. This is one of the last times that I'll be able to have a fresh bouquet of flowers this year so I knew I had to incorporate them into my photoshoot with Kelsey. 

When I was planning my outfit for the shoot, it was a real toss up between my classic brown wide brim hat that I've maybe worn for one too many photoshoots this season and my floppy black hat that was gifted to me last year. Just before I ran out the door I asked Instagram which hat I should wear and a unanimous dozen people voted for hat #2 which gave the outfit a moody vibe. 

I didn't plan for the ensemble and bouquet combo to resemble a funeral but it's fitting as summer 2017 is coming to an end and I am so sad to say goodbye. 

The sheer body suit I'm wearing is from Lasenza. This was the first time I wore it and I was surprised to find that it was super comfortable and it photographs really well.

I'm obsessed with my Levi's jeans from Envy Clothing Co. I have a couple pairs that I wear in rotation throughout the fall and winter months. They are such a classic wardrobe staple and they go so well with everything in my closet.
